Fluctuations
"Fluctuations" is a three colour photo lithograph printed at the
Slade School of Fine Art for my degree course. It was originally photographed at the
Victoria and Albert Museum from a 10 inch tall 15th century wooden crucifix grouping. The
idea behind the print was to convey the struggle one has in trying to accept traditional
Christianity in a modern phenomenological world where faith is a difficult concept over
fact and proof. "Fluctuations" was the 1992 Joseph Webb Commemorative Fund Award
winner for the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers in London.
